Shoppers Triple Coupons 1/22 - 1/28

|

Shoppers is tripling coupons starting today and ending on the 28th! Be sure to check out your stores weekly circular here to be sure that they are participating. For this promotion, their ad states:

Unlimited Triple Manufacturer's Coupons up to $.99
On any single item, please limit yourself to four manufacturer's coupons. If the value of the triple coupon exceeds the retail price of the item, you will receive the item free.

I'm kind of disappointed that they aren't doing the double/triple promotion this time, but with all those $1/x coupons out there, this will probably make for an easier trip, inshaAllah (God willing).

You can find discussion of this deal here on Hot Coupon World.

Do you mean they accept $1 coupons to be tripled? I have lots of those, but my understanding is they only triple up to .99, right?
I'm excited, this is my first attempt at couponing since the workshop a few weeks ago :)

No, the cut off for tripling, so $1 coupons will not be tripled. So, a $.99 coupon (which I've never seen) would be worth $2.97, but a $1 coupon would be worth $1. Realistically, the closest value coupon you regularly see would be the $.75 coupon, which would be worth $2.25 during triples.

I'm glad that you're excited and hope your first trip goes well!

I just did a Shopper's run. Picked up $102.91 worth of groceries, for $33, for a 69% savings. SI = Sunday Insert

French's spicy brown mustard, $1.59, $0.09 after $0.50 SI coupon.

French's Worchestershire sauce, $1.49, is FREE after $0.50 SI coupon.

Minute Rice, several varieties, $2.19, $0.69 after $0.50 SI coupon.

Cherry/Diet Cherry 7-Up 2-; are free TODAY (Sat. 1/24) ONLY. Just walk in and grab one from the many displays - though I was unable to find any diets. :-( I think this is a once-per-transaction thing, so if you come back for another trip, you can probably get another!

If you happen to need bread, the Roman Meal (several varieties) is typically $3.19, $1.54 after $0.55 SI coupon.

Hormel Chili, several varieties, including beans-only - lowest price per can is $1.59, so with $0.55/2 coupon, is about half price.

Ziploc bags are cheap after $0.55 SI coupon. Several types are 2/$4, so $0.35/box!

L'Oreal kids hair care was rumored to be free, but the only section I could find was a row of 2-in-1s for $2.99, making them $0.75 after $0.75 SI coupon.

Betty Crocker instant mashed potatoes ($1 pouches) go for $0.25 after $0.25 SI coupon.

Betty Crocker cookie mixes, 2/$4, go for $0.80 after $0.40 SI coupon.
